Keystone First – CHIP is a managed care organization. Beginning on July 1, 2025, Keystone First – CHIP will serve Enrollees in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. Keystone First – CHIP is dedicated to quality health care in Pennsylvania. Our mission at Keystone First – CHIP is to help people get care, stay well, and build healthy communities.

There is nothing you need to do at this time. More information will follow as we get closer to the transition date of July 1, 2025.

Your child’s health plan will change to Keystone First – CHIP on July 1, 2025.

If your child’s PCP has agreed to be part of the Keystone First – CHIP network, then yes, your child can stay with that PCP. Please visit www.keystonefirstchip for more information about our Keystone First – CHIP online provider directory. There you can see if your child’s PCP is in the Keystone First – CHIP network.

If your child’s PCP is not part of the Keystone First – CHIP network, we can help you find a new PCP. If you do not want a new PCP, you will need to choose another CHIP health plan.

More information will be coming about your child’s premiums, where to pay and how.

You may see some changes in the providers your child can see. More information will be available as we get closer to July 1, 2025.

Yes. Keystone First – CHIP will send a new ID card to all Enrollees. You will only need the one ID card to access your health care benefits.

We will send you a Welcome Kit. We may send you other important information as well.
